Higher Heights PAC-NYS Endorses Adrienne Adams for Mayor of New York City

BROOKLYN (May 13, 2025) — Higher Heights for America PAC- NY State, an initiative focused on electing more Black women to public office, has officially announced its endorsement of Adrienne Adams in her bid for Mayor of New York City. As the first Black Speaker of the New York City Council, Adams has demonstrated bold leadership, a deep commitment to equity, and a vision for a more just and inclusive city. 

As Speaker, Adams has led the passage of key legislation to address racial and gender disparities in healthcare, invest in community safety, and promote economic empowerment. She has championed policies to expand affordable housing, ensure fair pay, increase opportunities for underserved communities, and strengthen public education—including advancing the Education Equity Action Plan to implement a comprehensive K-12 Black Studies curriculum in New York City’s public schools. Her leadership in securing the largest municipal investment in abortion access and driving initiatives for workforce equity demonstrates her unwavering commitment to justice and progress.
