Illinois House of Representatives District 103

Carol Ammons is serving her third term as a member of the Illinois House of Representatives, representing District 103, which includes Champaign-Urbanna. Since assuming office in 2015, Ammons has passed legislation to stop the dumping of toxic chemicals, lower the cost of phone calls from Illinois prisons to help families stay connected, and install stronger police accountability measures. A longtime community organizer for equality in education, she has been elected to office at the county, city and state levels. Her awards include being named a University of Illinois Edgar Fellow and CU Superstar Program Shining Star Award for Supporting Champaign Youth.
