London Breed

London Breed

San Francisco

London Breed has served on the San Francisco Board of Supervisors since 2012.  In 2015 she was elected President of the Board of Supervisors by her colleagues and re-elected unanimously in 2017.  Through her tenure on the board, London has worked to not only unite her colleagues but all San Franciscans to advance policies that have made the transportation system more accessible and reliable, solve the City’s ambulance crisis, protect small businesses and pass landmark environmental protection laws.

As a San Francisco native, London Breed understands the struggles so many residents face in a city that is increasingly unaffordable.  She helped negotiate the city’s decision to raise its minimum wage to $15 per hour before the rest of California. London knows there is more work to be done, however, to make city jobs more accessible and provide more job training and career development programs to those who are unemployed or underemployed.

Housing insecurity afflicts thousands of San Franciscans, and London is committed to expanding affordable housing as a way to preserve San Francisco’s diverse identity.

London’s lifelong commitment to serving San Francisco residents and her dedication to affordable housing, homelessness public safety and economic justice maker her the ideal mayor for San Francisco.
