Illinois House of Representatives District 105

Chemberly Cummings seized opportunities to advocate and speak on issues while a student at Central State University. In 2005, she testified before the Ohio General Assembly about the importance of supporting and funding higher education. Since living in Bloomington-Normal, she has served on the Board for the McLean County YWCA, Alcohol Resource Prevention Center, and the Children’s Discovery Museum. Cummings earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Central State University. She’s currently working toward her master’s degree in Political Management from George Washington University.
