Coral Evans’ family has lived in Northern Arizona for four generations. “My grandfather moved his family to Flagstaff in the 1940s so he could make 3 cents more an hour at a sawmill there,” she says. Evans first ran for office to save a much- loved community center. The effort was successful, and for more than a decade she has continued to serve her community, by supporting local schools, establishing a veteran’s home in Flagstaff and helping small businesses.
