Colorado House of Representatives District 42

Dominique Jackson uses her seat as chair of the House Energy and Environment Committee to pass legislation that reduces pollution in order to slow climate change. help reduce waste across the front range, and invest in new infrastructure for electric vehicles. She also has sponsored bills that will provide safe and affordable housing and adequate health care. Jackson received her B.A. in communications from Metropolitan State University and her certificate in sustainability management from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She has attended the University of Denver in pursuit of an M.A. in international and intercultural communications. Her professional experience includes working in broadcasting. She has served on the Commission on Homelessness and the Sustainability Advisory Council in Denver and on the Citizen’s Advisory Committee for Housing & Community Development in Aurora.
