U.S. Virgin Islands Senate

Donna Frett-Gregory has 30 years of public financial and administration experience. She most recently served as Chief Financial Officer for the Virgin Islands Port Authority and was instrumental in reducing expenses of the organization. As Commissioner of the Virgin Islands Department of Education, she was instrumental in developing a 5-year Strategic Plan to guide and ensure that the Department meet its goals. While at the Department of Education, served as Assistant Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner for Fiscal and Administrative Services. She holds an MBA from Western Governors University, a master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of the Virgin Islands (UVI) and a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Morgan State University.
