U.S. House to represent Tennessee's 8th Congressional District.

Erika Stotts Pearson is one of just a few female, African-American sports agents in the country. She has a diverse background, from sports agent and financial adviser, to television producer and spiritual leader.  She uses her immense experience to bring positive change to her community.  Pearson pursued degrees in economics and finance and earned her master’s degree in sports and leisure commerce.  She and her ex-husband, the Rev. Derrick Joyce, founded the first public charter school in Shelby County — Memphis Academy of Health Sciences.
