Michigan House of Representatives District 7

LaTanya Garrett has aided metro Detroit as a licensed first responder and as a small business owner. During her time in the Michigan Legislature, she has advocated for adequate funding for public safety, economic empowerment, equal pay for equal work, protecting the rights of seniors and consumers, and quality healthcare and education. Garrett is a graduate of Henry Ford High School, Life Support Training Institute, and Wayne County Community College. She also is an alumna of Davenport University.
