London Lamar ran several state and local campaigns before her election to office. The campaigns contributed to helping other goal-oriented community leaders get elected into office. She was president of the Tennessee Young Democrats from 2015-2019, during which time she inspited youth across the state bring change to their communities through civic engagement programs, voting and running for offices at all levels.that contributed to helping other goal-oriented community leaders get elected into office. Lamar earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science.
