Texas House of Representatives District 95

Nicole Collier was a single mother before finishing high school, but her faith and her family enabled her to continue her education all the way through law school graduation. For the last fourteen years, Collier has been a strong legal advocate for individuals and families in the Texas court systems, and has now taken her skills to the state capitol as the first African American woman to represent House District 95 in Tarrant County. She has introduced legislation relating to animal encounter training for police officers, banning the sale of e-cigarette to minors, expanding eligibility for health care under the Affordable Care Act, increasing investment in Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUBs), and consumer protection bills concerning notice of major defects for certain used cars.
