Iowa House of Representatives District 93

Phyllis Thede, a para-educator, retired from the position of attendance secretary for Williams Intermediate School, Davenport, Iowa in 2016. She has served as her union’s president and vice president, a contract negotiator, and a grievance chair. Thede has served on many committees in the district, including the superintendent search committee. In addition, Thede served on the state Minority Action Committee, which is an organization that brings all minority youth together in the autumn to perform artistic activities.
