Rhonda Fields has ushered in new laws to grow Colorado’s economy, and protect the environment, as well as the rights of veterans, women, the undeserved and homeless. As a champion of public education, she helped secure nearly $500 million in funding for K-12 programs – helping to reduce school truancy, and recruit more teachers. Fields is the founder of the Fields Wolfe Memorial Fund, a nonprofit in memory of her son and his fiancé, whose murders led her to enter politics. She retired from United Airlines and holds a master’s degree from the University of Northern Colorado.
