Pennsylvania House of Representatives District 159

Ruth Moton is a longtime resident of the 159th and a successful business owner. She understands firsthand the struggles that many residents of the 159th face on a daily basis. Moton, who once cleaned homes to earn extra income, volunteers regularly to help clean up the 159th district. A first-generation college graduate, she holds a B.A. in Mass Communications from the University of North Carolina, Wilmington, an M.S. in Political Communication from North Carolina State University, and an MA in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from California State University, Northridge.
