North Carolina House of Representatives District 37

Sydney Batch practices family law, child welfare law and appellate law, while serving in the North Carolina House. Batch is certified as a Child Welfare Law Specialist and a certified Parenting Coordinator.
Since her election in 2018, Sydney has introduced 48 bills and been the primary sponsor for 10 bills in the NC House. She is a current board member for the Julia Crump Foundation and a former board member for the Women’s Center of Wake County. She also volunteers as a pro bono attorney for The Child’s Advocate, a project of Legal Aid of North Carolina.
