Judge for Department 10 of the Nevada 8th Judicial District Court

Tierra D. Jones earned a B.A. in criminal justice with a minor in counseling and educational psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno, and a J.D. from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. At the time of her appointment to the bench, Jones was a deputy district attorney for Clark County. Her professional experience also includes work for the Nye County District Attorney’s Office and the Clark County Public Defender’s Office.
