Georgia State Senate District 34

Valencia Seay retired from a 22-year career in banking, and now is president and CEO of Seay & Associates. Throughout her career, she has been closely involved with various civic groups. Recently, she was honored for her community activism by Lite House Partners Inc. with the dedication of a new activity center in College Park named the Valencia Seay Center. The center will provide a free academic and safe after-school and summer program for children in the Lakeview Trails Apartment community. Seay studied at DeKalb College, Clayton State University, and the Flemming Fellows Leadership Institute. She also completed the 2009 and 2011 Legislative Health Policy Certificate Program from Georgia State University’s Andrew Young School of Policy Studies.
