Saturday October 31 at 2pm ET, we’re calling for Pat Timmons-Goodson of North Carolina. Born into a military family, Pat grew up learning the value of a strong work ethic, service to her community, and commitment to others.
She was the first African-American woman on the Supreme Court of North Carolina, served on the United States Commission on Civil Rights, and she fights every day to ensure everyone is treated equally under the law.
