Higher Heights for America board member Simone L. Ward is president and CEO of SLW Strategies, a political strategy, executive coaching and leadership-development firm. Ward has worked on four presidential campaigns and served as executive director of the Women Effect Fund and the Women Effect Action Fund, which work for economic justice.
Previously, Ward served as the Florida State director for Hillary for America and she also served as the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee’s first African-American national political director. She has been a guest lecturer at Harvard Kennedy School of Government, Georgetown, Trinity and American Universities.
